And a believing man from Pharoah’s family who was hiding his belief asked: Do you kill a man who says Allah is my Lord, and who has brought clear Evidence from your Lord; and if he is telling a lie, then it is upon him, and if he is truthful, you will be affected with some of his promises, indeed Allah won’t guide the one who is trespasser, the liar.
The man mentioned in this verse was the only one from Pharaoh’s side who believed in Moses. This man, who hid his belief, declared his faith openly when Pharaoh was tempted to endanger Moses. The moral lesson the believers take from this event is that when a believer faces any attack from disbelievers, other believers should come forward openly to help the believer. “Indeed, Allah won’t guide the one who is a trespasser, a liar” means that not only Pharaoh but any hypocritical liar who hides and rejects Adhikr, which is the Food, Clothing, and Sight of the human soul, will not be guided by Allah to the Straightpath.
